First, Give thanks to the Lord

21 May 2010 No Comment

First, Give thanks to the Lord for giving me Chad, my only son even if he is down or special. He has not given to me as a problem instead, as happiness.

Second, Still give thanks to the Lord for extending his life. When he was a child, he was predicted by his pedia doctor that his life is short maybe 5 years is enough, but AMEN! Chad now is 25 years old this coming November.

Third, Give thanks for having Together Sped Center the second home of Chad. An avenue for him to learn both personal management and academic. Before, I brought him here in Together; he was ZERO but looked at him now, marunong nang kumanta at sumayaw when associate with his classmates, teachers and even to our neighbors. Marunong nang gumawa to whatever assignment given to him, by his teacher with less prompt. In the house, he fixes our bed, clean our room, installs our sounds, and put on and off our lights and aircon.

Although she is just a yaya, but still give thanks to Maling for taking good care of Chad especially when I am not around. She is there to replace me. Even also to Mr. Palencia for the total assistance for Chad despite of his disability and for being his barkada.

Fifth, Give thanks for having Mr, Song (bigay ng panahon) and his talented teachers and staff for having patience, dedication, and with knowledge and skills in teaching our children not only Chad.

Sixth, Give thanks to Together Parents and Together Community as a whole, and our own community for the openness of their minds in accepting and understanding our children. And for their continued support and counting our children as part of the community.

With all these, I am still inspired being a special mother. No regrets at all.

Thank you and good evening to one and all. See you all in June 2009.

God Bless!
